Can you resolve conflict & deal with practical issues to support others and achieve outcomes?Additional attributes we are looking for include:Prior experience and knowledge in supporting individuals with mental health needs, and managing challenging behaviours.Demonstrates patience, emotional resilience, effective listening skills, and adaptable communication techniques.Strong ability to advocate for others and develop sustainable support networks.Capable of making a positive impact both independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.Resilient, with the ability to adapt to challenges and remain focused under pressure.Proficient in using IT systems on both computer and mobile platforms.About the RoleWe assist & support individuals (consumers) in their own homes and community to develop skills and abilities to gain independence to complete day to day tasks. Our goal is to enable rather than do, to promote independence, development and confidence of the individuals. Our success will enable them to have the voice and choice to thrive in their local communities.The role entails:Provide 1:1 & 2:1 support to consumers in their own home and community setting.Meet the individual needs according to an established behavioral support plan.Develop professional relationships with individuals, their families and others in the community.Provide accurate and timely case notes so that others can provide a consistent experience for the individual.Provide support to assist consumers to work towards their individual goals.We provide 24/7 support to our consumers and are seeking casual staff to join our Casual Workforce Team. Potential shifts as follows: 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 2pm-10pm, 3pm-11pm, 10pm-6pm and 11pm-7am.It is a requirement of this position to meet all compliance requirements concerning NDIS Work Screening, Working With Children's Check, work rights and possess a current & valid driver's licence.What we can offer you:Ermha365 is an agile and innovative non-profit with a growth agenda across Australia.
