With Wellbeing support and activities to support your mental health, a range of benefits that can save you money and make a difference, and development to nurture your career.What you will be doing:As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will ensure care for adult men 18+ with a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and behaviours that challenge, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork.The wards are busy, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, and a good amount of routine and variety. Your day-to-day will include:Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service usersBeing responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of careProviding mentorship and support to team membersObserving, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care providedSkills and knowledge you will have:A relevant nursing qualificationNMC registrationStrong team-working skillsA high level of self-motivation and a flexible approachA positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionateA commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practiceWhere you will be working:Location: Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0BNYou will be working at Farmfield Hospital, which is a large purpose-built medium-secure service with good facilities. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will provide care and support for adult men 18+ with a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and behaviours that challenge.Farmfield is located North West of Gatwick airport near the village of Hookwood, with good transport links by road, bus and train.
