Job DescriptionAbout the opportunity At GMHBA, we are passionate about creating positive change in workplace mental health and are excited to be searching for an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Lead to champion employee wellbeing across our organisation.
A key advisory role within our People and Culture team, our Mental Health Lead role is part-time (0.4 FTE) and office based.
Our Mental Health Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive mental health initiatives across the organisation.
This role will promote mental wellbeing, reduce stigma, and ensure access to appropriate support and resources for all employees.
Your contribution will:
Increase awareness and support capability development for our people and our leadersSupport our People Partners in providing expert guidance on complex mental health situations, including supporting neurodivergent employees and developing effective return-to-work strategiesEnsure that our mental health initiatives create meaningful change and foster a supportive workplace culture.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout you You'll bring a tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline, backed by substantial experience in workplace mental health.
Your proven track record in developing and implementing successful programs will be essential, as will your ability to navigate complex priorities in a dynamic environment.
Your strength in influencing and advocating for evidence-based solutions will be crucial, complemented by exceptional communication skills.
Your collaborative approach will support you to engage with cross-functional teams to create engaging resources across various mediums, while your experience in data analysis and reporting will drive program improvement.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory compliance rounds out the expertise needed for this role.
