The MHECS Clinician collaborates with the on-call consultant psychiatrist to develop care plans and assist emergency department clinicians in managing mental health consumers' risks, medications, and ongoing care plans.The MHECS Clinician will also perform duties as a Police Ambulance Clinician Early Response (PACER) Clinician, conducting emergency assessments in community settings alongside police and ambulance services. This role requires in-person work in Wagga and virtual assessments across the district.The ideal candidate will possess extensive specialist knowledge in mental health, advanced reasoning skills, and the ability to operate autonomously with minimal supervision.
