About you As an experienced provider of evidence-based intervention and case management in a mental health setting, you'll have a strong understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented practices.
You'll also: Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing, or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. Be registered with the appropriate professional regulatory body (e.g., AHPRA, AASW). Have experience utilizing telehealth platforms for remote service delivery. Be committed to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest research and best practices in mental health. Hold a current Blue Card and National Criminal Check, as well as a current Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle to assist community-based work as needed. About the role The Mental Health Clinician will be responsible for providing high-quality health and wellbeing services to individuals in the regions of Toowoomba, Lockyer Valley, and Somerset.
Conducting comprehensive intake assessments to determine the mental health needs of adult consumers, you'll provide evidence-based individual and group therapy to address a range of mental health concerns.
Service delivery may include both in-person and telehealth supports.
You'll also: Collaborate and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients. Deliver crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health episodes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with organisational policies and legal requirements.
