About the Opportunity
NQDVRS is looking for a part-time Men's Behavioural Change Practitioner based in Mount Isa, QLD.
This role is pivotal in supporting the effective delivery of Men's Behaviour Change programs under the guidance of the Team Leader. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, facilitating group sessions, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure a coordinated response to men who use violence.
Key Responsibilities:

Providing information and referral to participants of the Men's Behaviour Change program
Performing intake and assessments to determine suitability for group participation
Facilitating group sessions using the Duluth model and curriculum
Liaising with Women's Advocates and other stakeholders for risk assessment and information sharing
Conducting court-related advocacy and informing male respondents about their rights and responsibilities
Preparing reports and maintaining accurate client records
Participating in community education and networking activities to raise awareness

About You
To qualify, you will need a tertiary qualification in a relevant human services discipline and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role. Experience in facilitating group work with clients who have complex needs is highly desirable. Additionally, you must have:

Completed or be willing to complete specialist group perpetrator intervention training
Demonstrated understanding of the dynamics of domestic and family violence
Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
High competence with technology and Microsoft Office suite
A current QLD C Class Driver's License and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

About the Benefits
