We are currently seeking a like-minded Medicine Veterinary Nurse to join our team!
This position offers the opportunity to work alongside leading veterinary specialists and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities: Delivering a high standard of compassionate care to both patients and clients Caring for hospitalised patients and recovering patients after procedures Preparing, facilitating and monitoring for procedures Planning, facilitating and monitoring anaesthesia Preparation of patients for procedures Ensuring a clean and hygienic environment throughout the hospital Assisting with consultations Conducting handover of patients Requirements: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent Minimum 2 years' experience working as a veterinary nurse, specialty experience preferred but training can be provided Strong technical nursing skills, proficiency in IV catheter placement, blood sampling and performing a TPR advantageous Knowledge of RxWorks and Smartflow are desirable but not essential A good general nursing knowledge base Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and focused during high-pressure situations A positive, flexible, enthusiastic attitude Have the ability to work closely within a team and autonomously We Want To Offer You: Leave entitlements - 4 weeks annual leave, personal/sick leave, carers leave (all leave benefits as per award) Continuous education program  Free annual influenza vaccination 6 weeks paid parental leave and flexible return to work programs Free access to confidential Employee Assistance Program LifeWorks 24/7 This is a growing business and for the right candidate ongoing opportunities will undoubtedly present themselves.
