Join our existing administration team and support our specialists, nursing staff and patients coming in for regular treatmentsPermanent,Full-Time Role (Monday - Friday)11% Super, 4 Weeks Annual LeaveAdministrationMelbourneFull TimeIcon Cancer Centre AustraliaAbout the Role:We have an opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to join the team at Icon Cancer Centre Richmond on a permanent, full-time basis (with some shifts at our centre within Epworth Freemasons). The overall purpose of this position is to provide high quality patient care and be the first point of call for Icon Cancer Centre clients.Things you'll do:Welcoming patients, collecting and entering personal details.Answering telephone calls, responding to enquiries and scheduling appointments.High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.Entering and processing patient billing and banking.Monitoring and assessing the administration care path of all patients.Maintaining and managing patient information.Possessing basic knowledge of medical terminology.Possessing basic knowledge of Medicare and DVA claims.Supporting Icon's WHS Officers and committees to effectively carry out their responsibilities.Modelling and promoting Icon's vision and values.About you:Experience in a similar role within the Healthcare industryExperience with Medicare, DVA and Private Health InsuranceExcellent organisational and time management skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word and ExcelDelivery of excellent client service (to internal and/or external clients)Possessing basic knowledge of medical terminologyAbout Us:Icon Group is Australia's largest dedicated cancer care provider with a growing reach into New Zealand, Asia and the UK.
