We are seeking TWO (2) new staff members (or 1 reliable staff member) who are reliable & passionate about working in general practice as a receptionist, to join our team. No weekend work. Should be able to cover for sick and holiday leave of other staff. Should be available to work across the following days; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday - 8am till 6pm. These days will be shared between the new staff members, to be discussed at interview.
Number of hours at least 20 per week for each new member. Willing to consider 1 reliable full time receptionist.
Applicants must be reliable, have excellent computer, multitasking/organisational skills and a calm and friendly manner. Our practice is a busy, computerised, two doctor practice with nurse support and happy friendly staff. Previous experience of working in a medical centre is required. You will be responsible for checking the billings, helping the reception staff with day-to-day running of practice and sometimes able to cover the reception staff in case of sickness or holidays.
Past experience in the medical practice and comfort with General Practice software like Best Practice is required. Exceptional customer service skills, excellent communication skills including a professional & personable telephone manner, the ability to multi-task and prioritise, and the ability to work as part of a multi-faceted team and independently are essential. Excellent computer knowledge with the ability to learn new programs easily is also required.
