Located in our either our Sydney or Melbourne offices, our Media team are responsible for developing, implementation and measurement of media strategies across our clients. We believe that great media is built on transparency, data and the integration of planning and buying. As such, we don't separate planning and buying but rather ensure they are managed together by the same people, this ensures our strategic thinking is present from planning through to reporting. This allows us to bring the best of media buying possibilities to our strategies and a deep understanding of the objectives into our buying.
The Role As a Media executive, you will responsible for assisting in the implementation and management of media campaigns across paid social, search and programmatic channels for a range of clients.
A Day in the Life Support the team with implementation and reporting across all digital channels (Social, Programmatic, OLV, Search) Ensure all buying is correct as per media plans Assisting media directors and head of media with strategic recommendations to deliver value for all our clients Deliver competitor and media landscape reporting with the support of media team Stay up to date across product and industry updates, as well as upskill across channels Work with the team to ensure campaign performance and delivery against KPIs Responsible with the support of the senior digital manager for media billing and invoicing processes across clients for digital channels Work to build strong partnerships with publishers which reflect H+Co values. Set the example for all team members in caring fiercely, internally, and externally. How will we know you are the one? Previous experience working within a digital media role or a keen understanding and interest to develop within the space Ideally experience across a minimum of one buying channel (e.g., DV360, Meta, Trade Desk, TikTok, Google marketing platform, Google Ads) Understanding of key media metrics and reporting KPIs and ability to intelligently apply data insights to campaign reporting Attention to detail that is second to none Strong data analysis and research skills to help inform strategic data led media recommendations Strong Microsoft suite skills, particularly with Excel Team player, but can work autonomously Other things that would make you excel in this role Contribute to campaign implementation and reporting across digital platforms Supporting senior digital manager and digital director in responding to new briefs, communicating with clients and You can confidently communicate with clients and across the business to help manage campaigns and reporting outputs You are beginning to actively contribute to client and internal WIPs and briefing sessions and are forming great relationships with people in other departments Work collaboratively with clients, to educate and elevate their media knowledge Who are Howatson + Company?
