Mechanical Fitters required throughout the Bowen Basin, QLD - Immediate starts available.

Workfast are working on behalf of our client who are a multi-national company that specializes in the mining and civil sectors across QLD. They are looking to employ multiple Mechanical Fitters for upcoming shutdowns across mining projects in the Bowen Basin region.

What you get Long hours (12 hour paid shifts) 4 days + 4 nights + 4 off Meals and Accommodation provided Opportunity to work on other mining sites across QLD Continuous work $62.50 per hour for day shift - FLAT RATE $71 per hour for night shift - FLAT RATE Uniform and PPE provided (if required) Bus will pick you up from camp and take you to and from the work site About you Must be qualified as a Mechanical Fitter Up to date Coal Board Medical BMA Core Induction Experience working within mine sites Have own tools Have reliable transport and be able to get yourself to the camp Up to date Standard 11 (refreshed in the last 2 years) Must have Confined Space Ticket (refreshed in the last 2 years) Must have Gas Test Atmosphere Ticket (refreshed in the last 2 years) Must have a Working at Heights (refreshed in the last 2 years) What you will be doing Mechanical Fitting duties as per supervisors' instructions Troubleshooting conveyor systems Maintenance duties Working alongside other operatives such as fitters and boilermakers Assisting colleagues as per supervisors' instructions Displaying great health and safety practices About us Workfast is a labour hire company working with some of Australia's largest and leading building companies.
