About the Role
The Mechanical Fitter and Fabricator will be responsible for assembling pumping equipment, fuel dispensing equipment, and performing general fabrication and welding tasks to support our manufacturing operations.
This role is based in our new Lytton workshop.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
Assemble pumping equipment, components, such as pumps, hoses, nozzles, and control panels.
Test and calibrate fuel dispensing systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Perform welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
Minor paint repairs - prepare tanks and parts for painting and touch-up as required.
About You
High school certificate or equivalent; vocational training or certification in mechanical fitting, fabrication, or welding.
Proven experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, fabrication, and welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as welding equipment.
Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
