Comprehensive salary package: from $73,150 pa (plus superannuation)
Required Skills and Experience:Associates degree in mechanical engineering technology (MIT), or similar.A minimum of two years' experience as a mechanical technician in a related industry.Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.Position Summary:On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer Technician who has strong communication and time management skills. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently as well as a member of a team.
This role will see you completing hands-on activities to fabricate, assemble, erect, test, maintain and/or repair equipment and components in line with industry best practice, company standards, policies, and procedures.
The position may also require skills in leading a small team or groups and the ability to train new members of the team. This is a full-time position which may involve weekend work and some unplanned hours of work where the need arises.
Other Required Skills:Good written and verbal communication skills;Advance knowledge in animal husbandry, animal welfare and legislation, dairy production, and OH&S;Knowledge in computer programs/software is an advantage.Qualified applicants may apply online.
