Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience

Area: Plymouth or Exeter

The Company: Build Recruitment are working with a Mechanical & Electrical specialist to recruit an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join them on an exciting refurbishment project.

This project is set to last approximately 2.5 years, but the role is being offered as a permanent one due to the company having a large project portfolio.

Based from either Plymouth or Exeter, we are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer or mechanical supervisor that is looking to take their next step in their career. You will be responsible for managing the day to day works on the refurbishment project, managing a team of experienced trades, client liaison, project coordination and also be willing to get involved with the day to day mechanical works.

Responsibilities: Manage the day to day works on the refurbishment project. Manage a team of experienced trades. Client liaison and project coordination. Involvement with the day to day mechanical works. Qualifications: You will need to have a strong mechanical background, ideally educated to HNC/ONC level and be experienced within the building services sector.

Excellent communication skills are needed - both written and verbal.

You will also need a full driving licence and be able to pass BPSS clearance.
