About the roleOur Victorian Energy and Resources Engineering Division delivers specialist energy, mining, hydrogen, and renewable energy projects across the country.
These include process plant modifications, upstream flowlines, well leases, network gathering systems, major gas transmission pipelines, above-ground processing facilities, as well as hydrogen facilities such as pipelines, refueling stations, compression, microgrids, and various renewable energy projects.
Our Melbourne office is currently recruiting for a number of Mechanical Engineers due to our growing portfolio of work.
What to expect: Apart from working with a great group of people, you will be accountable for:
Preparation and review of engineering design documentsEngineering calculations and datasheetsEquipment sizing and selectionPiping stress analysisEngineering of skid-based equipmentIntegrity engineeringInteraction with inter-discipline engineers to execute multidiscipline projectsYour background: You are a Mechanical Engineer or Senior Mechanical Engineer with 2 - 10 years' experience and have ambition to progress to a lead role in the next couple of years.You have experience in the delivery of piping engineering design within the local oil and gas industry.You have demonstrated experience with piping stress analysis and checking isometrics and piping arrangements.You have practical working knowledge of Australian mechanical and piping design standards (ASME B31.3, AS4041, AS2885).You demonstrate analytical and technical report writing skills with excellent attention to detail.You enjoy working on a diverse range of projects.You are a strong communicator and respectful of your peers.Flexible Working Conditions: Enjoy contemporary and inclusive working conditions.
