You're a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a passion for designing and optimizing mechanical systems that play a critical role in supporting missions for our customers. Your expertise in mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science allows you to develop innovative solutions that enhance performance, reliability, and safety. You thrive in challenging environments, using your analytical skills to tackle complex problems and deliver efficient, effective designs.

This is a contingent position based upon contract award What You'll Do In the role of Engineer, Mechanical, your duties will include: Studies, designs, specs, and services mechanical systems.
Functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far-reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities.
Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies.
Performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area.
Other duties as required.
Requirements: Must be a US or Australian citizen.
Must have a US TS/SCI Clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearance.
Must have a minimum of a BA/BS in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Must have a minimum of seven years of mechanical engineering experience.
Must have a PE-Mechanical license.
This role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
