Position: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Maintenance Mechanic
Job Overview:
Join our team in Rockhampton Depot and make a difference! As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy rigid vehicles in our workshop. You'll work closely with the Workshop Manager in conducting preventative maintenance on various vehicle components.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles
Work on brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics, and fabrication
Ensure vehicles are in top condition for safe operation

Requirements:

Trade qualifications as a Truck Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles
Attention to detail and strong mechanical aptitude
Pre-employment medical and drug testing mandatory
HR licence preferred
Ability to work well independently and in a team
