We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable MC Truck Drivers for our client who is Australia's leading logistics and transport company. As an MC Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods. You will be responsible for driving long-haul and local routes, transporting goods efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
We are currently looking for Line-haul drivers and Local drivers. PUD located in Minchinbury.
**Line-haul drivers**:
- Paid per KM, varying start times mainly of a night time.
**Local Drivers**:
- Day shift, varying start times $46.86 per hour
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate an MC truck to transport goods over long distances.
- Plan routes and ensure on-time delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
- Ensure the safety of yourself, other road users, and the cargo being transported.
**Requirements**:
- A valid MC truck license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience as an MC Truck Driver in similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Ability to handle long-haul routes and work flexible hours if required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and customers.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
- A strong work ethic with a focus on reliability and punctuality.
- Must provide a traffic safety report prior to start.
- Provide 2 references from similar roles.
