Mc Driver / Equipment Coordinator

The MC Driver / Equipment Coordinator role will be a critical part of our operational team. This role will be Monday-Friday 6.30am-4.30pm, allowing you to enjoy your weekends and evenings while maintaining a work/life balance.
This role will play a significant part in ensuring that our gear is delivered and presented at a quality standard to our customers. You will also help the rental and workshop teams carry out their duties efficiently and quickly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Here's a list of the type of work you could expect on any given day: approximately 40% driving and 60% equipment-based tasks, depending on the day!
The role in a nutshell: Truck driving requirements, including pick up and drop off of hire equipment from customer and/or supplier sites (locally) and swaps with our other branches on occasion.Maintain a clean and tidy work area and the appearance of the yard in all respects.Be the first point of contact to greet our customers when they arrive to pick up/drop off vehicles - being confident and friendly to ensure our customers feel comfortable onsite.Communicate with the Rental Operations team about vehicle information and requirements, working together as one team.Ability to undertake minor vehicle repairs (outside of OEM requirements) to allow vehicles to be available for hire without delays.Washing and detailing of vehicles to ensure our vehicles are looking their best!Demonstrate a commitment to OH&S policies, procedures, and regulations and adhere to safety requirements.If this sounds like a challenge you are more than willing to put your hand up for, get in touch; this might just be the role for you.
