This is an exciting Permanent Full-Time position located in the Brisbane CBD.

We're looking for a dedicated and innovative Marketing Officer to join our Marketing team to deliver statewide behaviour change campaigns to improve the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders.

The role
The Marketing Officer is a member of the Marketing Team.

In this role you'll be relied upon to contribute to the development and delivery of social marketing strategies and campaigns on a variety of health and reform topics.

You'll also ensure consumer insight and behaviour change communications principles are kept at the forefront of marketing campaigns.

The successful person

**The successful person will**:

- have experience delivering social marketing campaigns within agreed budgets and timeframes.
- have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to to work in partnership and build and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- have project management skills and be able to plan and manage the delivery of numerous competing priorities.
- be a problem solver, particularly in a communication and/or project management context.
- be able to collaborate and contribute to the positive culture of a team with a track record of maintaining a customer service mentality and supporting all colleagues to succeed.

The Strategic Communications Branch (SCB) is within the Strategy Policy and Reform Division (SPRD) within the Department.

The branch delivers on the strategic communications priorities of Queensland Health. SCB provides strategic communications advice and manages all communications outputs for the Department of Health and acts as system leader in supporting communication activities delivered by Hospital and Health Services.

**SCB oversees**:

- communications strategy development, delivery and evaluation
- statewide behaviour change marketing campaigns
- consumer research and insights
- media and issues management
- corporate and clinical communications
- internal communications
- partnerships and sponsorships
- strategic stakeholder engagement
- digital and social media content production and management
- creative, design and audio-visual production services
- online and web services
- events management.
