Marketing Manager (P/T)
We have a new and exciting role within the Estate for a Part-Time Marketing Manager to work in the proactive promotion of Murrayshall Country Estate. This is an exciting time to work for Murrayshall as you will be taken on a journey. Murrayshall is undertaking a period of growth capitalising on the glorious estate surrounding the hotel, with the latest release being 22 Armadilla pod-style cabins, marking a new era of luxury and comfort for the Estate. This past year Spa Treatment rooms have been added along with Pursuits area for Quad bike, archery and Axe throwing.
Murrayshall is set in 365 acres of stunning Perthshire countryside and dates back over 400 years. It is situated just 3 miles from the cultural city of Perth, offering guests a tranquil haven in which to unwind and relax, with 40 elegant and spacious rooms and suites, 27-holes of stunning parkland golf and delicious local cuisine in our Eolas Restaurant.
Duties and Key Responsibilities of the role:
Execute our marketing / digital strategy and bring new and exciting ideas to the table.
Act as the primary liaison with our partners and agencies, media outlets and other promotional entities in effective communication of the resorts' brand.
Help manage the annual marketing plan, focusing on attracting business during low season, while improving guest experience during peak times. Get the message of the Estate as a destination to market.
Build brand awareness through campaigns, awards and other promotional activities.
Develop and implement creative marketing campaigns across all channels.
Analyse and enhance the website to increase traffic and engagement.
Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns.
Produce reports on digital performance and recommend actions to influence trading.
Develop and own the resort's digital roadmap, ensuring an exceptional guest journey.
Stay current with industry trends, innovations, and regulations to maintain a competitive edge and compliance.
Support the development and execution of all PR, marketing, and communications activities.
Represent Murrayshall Country Estate at client events, networking functions and familiarisation visits.
Professional Attributes, Skills and Experience
Min 2 years marketing experience.
Hospitality & tourism experience beneficial.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments and external partners.
Professional and courteous communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
Excellent organisational, administrative, and project management abilities.
Strong attention to detail with effective research and problem-solving skills.
Collaborative team player, flexible, and resourceful under pressure.
Experience in marketing, PR, collateral production, and project management.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office.
Familiarity with graphic file storage and distribution methods.
Ability to manage tight deadlines and schedules.
Proficiency in design software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) is a plus.
Communications and Reporting:
Weekly meeting with the General Manager
Weekly Commercial Meeting – preparing weekly overview of activity, pipeline and contracted business
Attend team and other relevant meetings

This is a permanent part-time role with hours and days negotiable. Salary £35-40 FTE
