We are looking for a talented Marketing Communication Specialist to join Australia's largest Media and Publications group.
In this digitally focused data-driven role, you will be instrumental in the implementation of B2C and B2B Marketing initiatives across Australia's leading media brands, including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Australian Financial Review.
With a strong focus on audience segmentation and marketing automation, your role will drive customer engagement, acquisition and retention, with a focus on business KPIs and revenue outcomes.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:Development and execution of responsive email campaigns including creating, testing, scheduling, and deployment.
Assist with planning, implementing and monitoring marketing automation activities across email, SMS, and social media.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML, list segmentation and other aspects of the marketing automation process.
Working closely with customer systems and IT teams to effectively understand and utilise customer data for marketing initiatives.
Assist with the creation of audience segments for marketing communications.
Assist with ongoing campaign performance analysis, reporting and recommendations.
Assist with planning and optimisation of our existing digital marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive engagement, retention and revenue growth.
Our preferred candidate will have the following:Minimum 2 years experience in an email marketing function with a Digital focus.
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud with certification highly regarded.
HTML experience and/or demonstrated understanding of responsive HTML email design.
An understanding of structured query language (SQL).
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work tasks autonomously
Demonstrated exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret data to form insights.
Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritise tasks to meet campaign deliverables.
