About the OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled data collector to join our team at Instinct and Reason in Canberra. The role involves conducting independent market research through face-to-face interviewing and observational studies, with a focus on collecting high-quality data for client-centric strategic planning.
Shift lengths will vary, and successful candidates may be offered work on other projects based on their availability and performance.
Key Skills and AttributesMinimum availability of four to ten days a month (weekends inclusive) from October to June 2025.Demonstrated fluency in spoken and written English.Ability to understand and follow correct procedures with minimal errors.A strong interest in data collection and adherence to data integrity.Adaptability to work in dynamic environments and across various field research programs.Eligibility to work in Australia (international students/WHV holders welcome).Punctual, respectful, and professional presentation always.Willingness to work on feet in both indoor and outdoor environments for various shift lengths and times.Excellent communication skills with respondents and our team.Proven understanding of quality data standards in market research (accuracy, consistency, and integrity).Competent understanding and ability to use digital tablet devices.What We OfferAbove award hourly rates plus allowances.Paid travel time/expenses as per AMSRO agreement.Paid full training under ISO 20252.Flexible work arrangements.
