Reporting to the Shift Operations Manager, the role of Operations Supervisor is critical to the leadership of one of our day shift Operations teams, responsible for end-to-end production functions, managing labour and performance results on shift all whilst ensuring that our employees are working safely and the food production is of the required quality.
You will be a part of a team that prides itself on a strong history of production of iconic breakfast cereals here in Australia!
A taste of what you'll be doing: Directing and guiding operators and their activities for their assigned area during shift.
Ensuring adherence to standard work processes and Kellogg work systems Participate in the development of and implementation of plans and policies to ensure compliance with food safety policies and procedures.
Ensuring our production lines operate within the various guidelines such as Safe Food NSW & GMP Conduct training and develop capability of employees to achieve optimal skills levels on shift Carry out appropriate shift handover duties, integrating actions with other shifts when needed Conduct sanitation audits and develop action plans in consultation with Operations Manager Working through operational issues on shift & ensuring quality compliance actions are completed in a timely manner    Your recipe for success: Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Food Technology or Business OR Diploma, evidenced learning in related field A strong background in a food manufacturing environment including processing, packing and mechanical Proven ability to effectively manage people – there are up to 40 people on shift Excellent written & verbal communication skills – someone who can be courageous and have the tough conversations when necessary Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computers   Strong problem solving ability Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others and work as part of a team & cross functionally to drive better outcome for your team and shift.
