We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead and grow our manufacturing capability and team based in Campbellfield VIC.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing or Fabrication Manager to lead our fabrication team based in Campbellfield VIC. The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for the end-to-end operations of producing Diverseco's weighbridges and scales under the AccuWeigh and Ultrahawke brands. In addition to this, we are integrating the engineering and fabrication requirements of our Robotics and Intralogistics business units to form a comprehensive manufacturing and fabrication facility for all our requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the manufacturing process (end to end) to achieve quality and timing outcomes.
Develop a manufacturing roadmap that demonstrates strong planning and organisational skills with focus on production efficiency and streamlining operations, including continuous improvement and opportunity to introduce advanced manufacturing processes.
Obtain supplier pricing inputs in order to provide pricing and manufacturing timelines to the sales team for bespoke requirements.
Develop, lead, and manage staff to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction, including the appointment of sub-contractor suppliers to the manufacturing process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering & Projects, Procurement, and Quality Assurance to ensure seamless production processes.
Manage the lifecycle of production equipment including a maintenance and repair program that optimises production efficiencies.
Troubleshoot day to day issues to manage production output.
Resolve non-conformance issues and seek continual improvements, leading by example across all areas of accountability including WHSE, Quality, and Leadership, promoting a Zero Harm Culture at all times.
This is a hands-on job requiring strong communication skills to manage and work with internal and external stakeholders.
About you:
Proven people management and communication skills with experience in manufacturing and fabrication management.
Formal civil/structural engineering qualification would be an advantage.
Exposure and knowledge of advanced manufacturing processes.
Strong understanding of fabrication and welding of structural steel (MIG welding experience is valued).
Background in weighbridge/scale manufacture would be an advantage.
Have a strong ability to think and plan ahead.
Be a high performer with attention to detail.
Be reliable and keen to work in a growing business.
