A seasoned Managing Director now has the opportunity to join the senior management team, taking the lead in driving sustainable growth, strengthening long-term relationships, and ensuring continued success for the business.ABOUT THE ROLEReporting into the Regional CEO and Board of Directors, after a transitionary period, you will become the face of the company, leading the executive team and managing the strategic direction of the business, while remaining hands on to maintain the culture and professional services that have been the cornerstones of the company's success for some decades. Some of the key functions are as follows:Developing and identifying growth opportunities and implementing business strategies.Establishing and maintaining strong-lasting relationships with clients, suppliers, and tourism authorities.Overseeing the company's business strategy and day-to-day operations within budgeted sales and profitability targets.Fostering a high-performance culture, and creating and monitoring the company culture.Representing the company at public events and attending conferences.Managing risk exposures.Overseeing financial stability of the company and protection of assets.Ensuring compliance with regulations, and adhering to national and local business laws.SKILLS & EXPERIENCETo be considered for this role, you will bring:Sound commercial senior level business management experience, having led a successful team and driven growth within the inbound tourism industry.Excellent managerial, leadership, and supervisory skills, being able to engage at all levels.Ability to interpret financial data as needed to formulate and implement business plans.Proficient organisational and leadership skills with a sharp attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to communicate fluently in Mandarin (preferred).BENEFITSThis business has a unique market positioning that is supported by a sound reputation and a list of loyal partners.
