Your primary mission will be to drive strategic expansion, enhance operational efficiency, and optimize profitability for the Solar & Battery division. Reporting directly to the Hanwha Energy Business Head, you will oversee the complete 360 of the business—from sales and installations to commercial operations and compliance—while working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to implement forward-looking strategies in both the residential and commercial markets.This high-impact role requires a visionary leader with the capability to manage a diverse team, forge influential partnerships, and deliver on ambitious growth targets, while ensuring the company remains a key player in Australia's transition to renewable energy.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Growth & Market Expansion: Spearhead initiatives to expand Nectr's presence across Australia, identifying new market opportunities and building relationships with corporate stakeholders in the renewable energy sector. Develop and execute strategies to penetrate both residential and commercial solar markets, with a focus on scaling the business.Profit & Loss Management: Take full ownership of the company's P&L, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth. Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, while maintaining a focus on sales volume, revenue, and margin targets.Leadership & Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing, collaborative team that is motivated to exceed business objectives. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement, ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent.Strategic & Operational Excellence: Oversee the full spectrum of business operations, including commercial, sales, quality, and compliance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Implement continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.Corporate Governance & Compliance: Ensure the highest standards of corporate compliance, environmental responsibility, and communication practices. Act as a signatory and be accountable for all daily business matters, in line with company policies and legal regulations.Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with Hanwha Energy Australia's leadership and other external partners to leverage opportunities for business expansion and strategic collaboration. Represent the company in high-level negotiations, public forums, and industry events.Skills and ExperienceEntrepreneurial leader: Have success in managing and scaling renewable energy businesses or similar fast-paced, technology-driven industries.Extensive Senior Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, foster innovation, and deliver results in a senior leadership role within the renewable energy or technology sector. Experience in navigating corporate frameworks and securing stakeholder buy-in for strategic initiatives.Negotiation & communication: Demonstrated ability to navigate corporate politics, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and adeptly handle red tape to drive strategic initiatives forward in a highly regulated environment.Commercial Acumen & Strategic Vision: Strong commercial understanding, with a track record of identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. Experience in managing P&L, budgets, and financial performance, ensuring long-term business viability.Solar Industry Expertise: An understanding of the solar and battery industry, with experience in solar operations, installations, or new product development. The ability to anticipate market trends and develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs is highly desirable.People-Centric Leadership: A dynamic, emotionally intelligent leader who excels in fostering high-performance cultures.
