We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Australia, responsible for driving sales growth across the country.
This role will focus on supporting the sales of our innovative B2B software solutions to telecommunication service providers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in solution architecture and/or enterprise architecture within the telecommunications industry, combined with proven sales experience.
This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to effectively communicate complex solutions to technical decision-makers.
Responsibilities:
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with telecommunication service providers across AustraliaDevelop and maintain strong relationships with technical decision-makers, CTOs, and senior IT leaders in target accountsCreate and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing how our solutions address specific client challengesDesign and propose complex technical solutions that align with clients' enterprise architecture and long-term technology strategiesCollaborate closely with the product development team to understand client requirements and influence product roadmapProvide technical leadership throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial technical discovery to solution design and implementation planningForecast sales pipeline and provide regular updates to senior management, including technical win/loss analysisStay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscape in the telecommunications sectorMentor junior technical sales team members and share knowledge across the organization Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field10+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with at least 5 years in a technical pre-sales or solution architecture roleProven track record of designing and selling complex technical solutions to telecommunication service providers in AustraliaDeep understanding of telecommunications networks, protocols, and emerging technologies (e.g., 5G, NFV/SDN, IoT, ODA)Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologiesExcellent technical writing skills, with the ability to create detailed solution designs and technical proposalsOutstanding communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience with major telecom vendors' technologies and integration challengesFamiliarity with Australian telecommunications regulations and industry standardsProficiency in technical modeling tools and techniquesAbility to travel within Australia (up to 30% of the time)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
