In this role you will lead and manage a team providing interpretation and practice advice on State revenue issues to internal and external clients. This includes development of public rulings and practice directions for the interpretation and administration of laws QRO administers and delivery of legislation training within QRO.
You will work directly with internal and external stakeholders, operating with independence, autonomy, and co-operation in leading activities to meet stakeholder needs.
Your typical day as Manager may include:
Reviewing research and advices prepared by your teamLiaising with other QRO business areas and senior staff to settle high-quality advices raising legislative and practice issues involving the legislation administered by QRO.Management of other functions carried out in the division including the provision of private rulings and the legislative training program.Monitoring and reporting on divisional systems and practices with a view to implementing solutions which are progressive and support team performance and QRO's strategic direction.Joining QRO you will have opportunities for continued learning, growth, and career development.
