About this job:
Lead and directly manage the sector's sales force responsible for instituting and enforcing sales processes, tracking market and customer trends, and achieving revenue targets for the area.
Your key responsibilities: Lead and direct area sales personnel to achieve national and individual sales objectives, ensuring revenue targets are exceeded.Ensure optimal sales team performance by providing day-to-day leadership, deployment, development, and corrective action.Set individual revenue budgets in conjunction with the relevant Sector Manager and drive attainment throughout the area while ensuring profitable sales.Identify and establish major key account business opportunities, achieving individual revenue targets for these accounts.Maintain market awareness; stay in touch with market trends including economic, environmental, and competitive forces influencing the market.Enforce standards, monitor pricing practices, execute objectives, and hold the team accountable for performance.Ensure effective adherence to company policies, procedures, and sales processes.Drive functional sales initiatives and campaigns throughout the sector in partnership with the relevant Sector Manager.Utilise authority for sales personnel decisions (staffing levels, hiring, termination, promotion, salary administration, etc.)
in consultation with the relevant Sector Leader.Ensure optimal team performance and capability by providing day-to-day leadership, coaching, development, and corrective action.Execute specific plans developed in conjunction with the VP of Sales and Marketing to drive market/customer penetration.Create and maintain relationships at key levels with select customers and accounts; ensure timely and thorough follow-up.Ensure that assigned sector attracts, develops, and retains the highest quality sales talent available in the marketplace.Deliver key presentations for major opportunities to existing and potential Aggreko customers.Ensure that the CRM system is utilised correctly and regularly by the sales team.Ensure that the induction of new sales personnel is conducted in line with current procedures and sign-off is done by the relevant Sector Manager and HR department.Complete all administrative tasks including financials, invoicing, debt collection, Movex, and reports on time and in line with policy and procedures.Maintain market awareness for opportunities, major projects, market trends, new products, and competitor activity.Manage price strategy and controls to maximise rental and recovery rates.Drive agreed sales and marketing campaigns throughout the area.Develop and execute sales and marketing and territory sales plans for the region and each consultant.Coordinate weekly/monthly sales meetings and chair periodic strategy meetings in conjunction with the relevant Sector Manager.Provide weekly revenue forecasts and monthly reports to the relevant Sector Manager.Drive the importance of customer response for the Satmetrix survey to your sales team and customer base.Collaborate closely with the Regional Operations Leaders and relevant teams to support the meeting of P&L metrics.Participate and support Always Orange initiatives and projects.Comply with all OHS policies and procedures.
Practice safe work habits following Aggreko Health, Safety and Environment policies, wear PPE clothing provided, and maintain a clean, tidy work area.You will have the following skills and experience: Relevant business degree.A proven track record in Sales Management with experience in leading sales teams.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Ability to liaise, develop, and maintain relationships with people at all levels within an organisation.Strong customer focus and understanding of the sales process.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong commercial skills.Able to travel extensively throughout the region (Use of Polycom encouraged where possible).Possession of a current and valid driving license.Join us, bring your energy, and grow your career.
