Government - State (Government & Defence) Are you a strategic leader with a passion for compliance and governance?QLeave is seeking a dynamic Manager Remediation, in a 12 month fixed term contract, to manage and implement a comprehensive program of work that supports workers in the building and construction, contract cleaning, and community services industries in receiving their long service leave entitlements.QLeave is a statutory authority dedicated to supporting workers through portable long service leave schemes. As a key player in the organisation, you'll have the opportunity to influence strategy, shape policy, and lead vital initiatives that drive their mission forward.Reporting directly to the Director Legislative Compliance, the Manager Remediation will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver complex projects encompassing legal, regulatory, and data streams. You will play a critical role in achieving the program's key deliverables and objectives, while also contributing to broader strategic and delivery decisions as part of the Senior Leadership Team.Key Responsibilities:Manage and implement remediation programs and projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high professional standards.Provide updates and advice to the Director Legislative Compliance on project status and day-to-day operations.Use your expertise to guide project delivery using industry best practices, ensuring effective governance and quality assurance.Build and maintain positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external partners to achieve program outcomes.Support team leads in achieving project goals, identify learning opportunities, and ensure high performance across the team.Proactively manage risks, issues, and interdependencies within the program, ensuring appropriate prioritisation and escalation where needed.Maintain comprehensive project plans and documentation to support effective governance and decision-making.What We Are Looking For:We are seeking a highly motivated individual with demonstrated experience in leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You will have strong people management skills and the ability to navigate public sector frameworks and compliance requirements.
