Our Registration and Licensing division significantly contributes to ensuring Victorians are safe on our roads by providing professional customer services, policy advice and specialist services to our customers.
Registration and Licensing Practice Standards and Solutions is responsible for a range of operations policy, content, standards and regulatory oversight activities. It embraces new ways of working and thrives on team collaboration and individual leadership at all levels.
It is also a public sector leaser in the use of service design methodologies as part of the policy development and regulatory review and improvement cycle. If offers a range of developmental opportunities.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Registration and Licensing Practice Standards and Solutions (PSS), the Manager Registration and Licencing Business (Operations) is a key member of the PSS leadership team. The role is responsible for the ongoing review and implementation of policies, standards and operating procedures that enhance operational performance.
The role will oversee a multi-disciplinary team and support the delivery of initiatives and key projects within budget, on time and in accordance with agreed plan. Communicating strategic advice on policy implementation to executives, the department and Minister's Office.
About You
Previous experience in providing specialist and highly influential advice in the implementation of policies within a similar environment
Have effectively led and can demonstrate a history of managing, motivating and developing employees in achieving strategic outcomes.
Able to exercise independent judgement to make decisions that effectively balance the competing priorities and expectations of all impacted stakeholders.
Possess the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and apply innovative and specialist problem solving skills to resolve complex issues.
