Introduction and Team you will belong to The Repairs Product Group is responsible for the Repairs business in Metso.
Metso operates a network of Service Centers that are capable of performing repairs and refurbishments on Metso equipment as well as 3rd party equipment.
All our repair and service activities are designed to maximize the productivity, safety and reliability of our customers' equipment.
Our Service Centers offer a full range of services to precisely inspect, repair, and return equipment to service.
We serve customers in the mining and aggregates industries as well as other industrial markets around the world.
One of the key roles of the Repairs Product Group is to drive profitable products/offerings and provide technical support to the market areas in executing repair cases.
In this position, you will report to Senior Product Manager, Repairs.
We are seeking a motivated, results oriented Senior Product Sales Support Manager who can effectively work with multiple stakeholders to support and promote Metso's professional services products/offerings.
This includes supporting complex service exchange cases, promoting productized repair offerings, presenting to internal and external 'customers', and developing compelling customer value propositions that will boost sales and profitability growth for the Repairs product group.
This position supports the Australasian Pacific region and can work remotely within Australia.
Please be aware that the travel requirements for this position can be upwards of 50%.
What you'll do Provide product sales support, within defined geographical region, with a focus on Repairs products.Promote and drive repair service exchange offerings, alongside Market Area sales.Support complex or tailored service exchange sales cases, which may include additional professional services elements.Drive repair pricing excellence through Market Area service centers.Support repairs product launches.Support product/sales campaigns and growth programs.Acts as the intermediary for Market Area Sales and Professional Services product management.Responsible for the value argumentation, value proposition and win plan for cases and overall for the PSE/Repairs portfolio.Ensures timely progress of the sales case from lead, to proposal and negotiations; Ensures profitability of the sales cases and the business segment.Understands the market, competition and the industry best practices for labor related services and ensures that sales cases are built accordingly.Coaches and trains Market Area sales, Technical Sales Support and PSE/Repair proposal teams in offering and ways to sell.Who you are Customer-oriented mindset with an understanding of customer needs & typical maintenance practices.Minimum 5-7 years in a sales related role, preferably related to Mining or Aggregates industries or in a field service or repair center environment.Minimum 5-7 years in a technical support related role.Prior experience presenting to customers and maintaining customer relationships.Commercial & financial acumen, "deal engineering" skills, ability to craft compelling value propositions.Planning and coordination skills and the ability to effectively work with multiple stakeholders across different time zones.Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and engineering drawings preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).Previous experience interpreting and negotiating multi-year contracts.Previous experience selling labor services.Knowledge of SAP.Knowledge of Salesforce.What's in it for you An inspiring purpose - Enabling sustainable modern life.
