Working within the National Red Imported Fire Ant Eradication Program (NRIFAEP), Biosecurity Queensland, Business Services team, you will lead NRIFAEP's procurement and contract management services. This will include the delivery of consistent quality procurement services for high-level, sensitive and complex activities in line with the whole of government legislation and organisational procurement strategies and governance.As our Manager, you will: - Lead and manage a service delivery team culture, building capability in relation to procurement, contract management, logistics, supply chain and facilities
- Possession of or, ability to acquire possession of Level 3 Queensland Government Procurement Certification.You may also have
- Demonstrated experience managing a complex team in a dynamic environment. Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary procurement practices over the lifecycle of procurement. Demonstrated experience with significant, complex procurement tenders and projects. While not mandatory, a qualification relevant to contract management or business management from a recognised tertiary institution, would be well regarded. A current unrestricted 'C' class Drivers licence.Key competenciesAll employees are expected to role model leadership behaviours.
