Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd (ANI) has been established by the Government of Australia to develop state-of-the-art infrastructure at the Osborne Naval Shipyard for the domestic manufacture of world-class naval vessels.The current Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard project sees a range of specialist professionals coming together to design and build one of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects undertaken in Australia's history; to support the manufacturing and maintenance of nuclear-powered submarines under the AUKUS program.The Manager Planning and Treasury is a newly created role at ANI and is part of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the CFO. Leading a small team within ANI's finance function, this role will support the company's financial strategy and goals, including managing the company's liquidity, optimising financial resources, ensuring compliance with regulatory, bank and shareholder requirements and having oversight of ANI's planning and budgeting processes.Specific ResponsibilitiesOverseeing ANI's Corporate Financial Model (strategy, budgets and forecasts).Developing strategies to support ANI's major capital projects to understand funding and financing requirements.Further developing monthly management reporting to suit business needs.Leading ANI's treasury activities in line with ANI's Financial Risk Management Plan.Managing any additional debt raisings, hedging strategies and be accountable for the ongoing optimisation of debt levels and liquidity.Managing ANI's funding requirements, including debt facility administration and Commonwealth equity management.Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key banks and other stakeholders.Developing and maintaining efficient and compliant approaches, systems, models, and procedures for managing ANI's financial risks.Applications are encouraged from suitably qualified (CA, CPA or similar) and experienced finance professionals, with a comprehensive understanding of treasury instruments, management practices, internal controls and governance, together with proficiency in financial markets and funding program management. Advanced analytical skills, coupled with demonstrated experience in corporate financial modelling are essential.
