As our highly valued Manager, Media and Communication, you'll contribute to ensuring a bright future for Queensland, Australia and our global partners.

Reporting to the Director, Communications you will have the opportunity to develop innovative, proactive media and communications strategies to promote TIQ's services, vision, and success stories, and provide a strategic service to strengthen internal and external communications across a range of collateral and channels.
You will also be required to manage the interface between portfolio agencies and TIQ in relation to sensitive and emerging media issues while upholding our reputation.
Based in Brisbane, here's what your role will involve:
Manage, coach, support and lead a small team of media and communications professionals and work collaboratively with others to provide excellent service delivery.Manage and oversee media and communication issues across the global organisation and provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders on those activities.Manage and maintain internal and external communication at a fast pace, across digital and other channels ensuring communications are high quality, consistent, accurate, timely and fit for purpose.Work collaboratively with senior management and key stakeholders to deliver a range of media and communication services including proactive media releases and opportunities, issues management, strategic messaging, and communications plans.Monitor, anticipate and identify contentious media issues and opportunities (including social media) and manage appropriately.Develop, coordinate and implement media and communications strategies and plans to support and achieve the strategic priorities and objectives of TIQ both domestically and internationally.You'll also enjoy a range of benefits, such as:
