Details of the offer

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
For a period of 12 - 15 months, the Manager, Logistics will assume the responsibility for creating on time availability for our customers by coordinating / matching supply and demand within the supply chain.
Enables Markets in meeting their financial and operational objectives while supporting Market commercial strategies, optimizing demand and supply for given region and continuously improving operational performance through driving end-to-end supply chain integration with areas and global functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for availability (supply) and fulfillment (shipment ex warehouse according to sales order dates) for day-to-day operations;
Ensuring OTIF execution of customer deliveries against commercial requirements.
Leading meetings in order to identify critical supply chain constraints and determine actions to overcome problems with respect to supply of critical products (products with confirmed customer date, strategic products, products for Marketing campaigns / launches).
Day-to-day management of outbound planning and prioritization, including shipment mode (transportation parameters incl. air freight
requests) in close collaboration by considering on time delivery vs cost.
Decide in collaboration with Channels about order book management in order to steer month end target achievement.
Creation of warehouse capacity forecast and leading meetings with Channels in order to determine and optimize DC staffing levels to meet month-end targets.
Design, structure and implement tactical solutions to manage inventory and reduce aged and residual articles.
Participation in cross-functional S&OP meetings (Planning, Purchasing, Sales)
Key operations contact for the business for any related order, inventory or transport related queries.
Responsibility and management of DC and transport budgets.
Involved in key project to establish new fully automated DC and assist in transition planning and management, exit of current 3PL relationship y and ramp-up in new facility.
Upon request participation in SCM or cross functional projects as required.

PAC & APAC SCM team
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Deep understanding and management experience in operational supply chain process environment, understanding business requirements and capabilities needed
High degree of self-motivation and self-management
Strong analytical skills
Operations as wells as commercial mindset
Experience in (cross functional / regional or global) project management
Strong leadership in combination with team approach
Demonstrating initiative and acting result oriented
Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively and efficiently on different layers of the organization
Competent user in Microsoft Office applications
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
A 3-4 year degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis on the area of finance, business, logistics, planning, supply chain, information systems, or operations
5-7 years of experience working in a supply chain environment
Management experience for at least 3 years
Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
