Reporting to the Director of Community & Infrastructure, the Manager Infrastructure and Delivery will be expected to demonstrate exemplary leadership attributes, including modeling best practice processes and customer-centricity, that already exist in the team.

Through empowering leadership, you will develop, maintain, and coordinate Council's asset management and capital works planning and delivery.
By working collaboratively with all areas of the Council, Councilors, community members, and relevant external stakeholders, the Manager Infrastructure & Delivery will contribute to the long-term strategic direction of the Rural City of Wangaratta.
To be successful, you will need to be an experienced and contemporary leader with relevant experience in managing a team of professionals in a service delivery environment.
You are renowned for your exceptional and inspirational leadership combined with the ability to enhance performance and foster a positive culture within your teams.
You possess a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to uplift the capability and maturity of asset management and capital works functions whilst maintaining strong reporting standards, project management methodology and financial sustainability.
You have an engaging interpersonal style and the ability to build strong rapport, along with a commitment to building relationships, as you will be leading relationships with various stakeholders, including contractors, government agencies, and the community.
While not mandatory, experience working within Local Government or the broader public sector, along with relevant tertiary qualifications, is beneficial.
