**Manager, Group Privacy Office**

**Do work that matters**

As a member of the Group Privacy Office you'll be working closely with the Compliance teams supporting each Business Unit across the Group as well as the group and business aligned operational risk teams.

**In any given week you will**
- Assist with the maintenance of the CBA Group Privacy strategy and risk management framework.
- Advise on the translation of privacy obligations into business requirements.
- Support, improve and maintain privacy governance across the Group.
- Support and drive collaboration between Group Compliance and the Business Units for privacy related activities and initiatives to establish privacy capability.
- Support on privacy incidents and the assessment of whether the regulator / impacted individual needs to be notified of a data breach.
- Assist with monitoring of compliance and the development of privacy metrics for reporting.
- Provide guidance to Business Units to shape privacy management plans and ensure consistency across the Group.
- Provide guidance and input into Group risk compliance framework.

**We're interested in hearing from people who have**
- Demonstrated proven track record dealing with privacy issues for financial services firms and/or multi-national organisations.
- Industry experience, preferably with a background in Compliance, Legal, Risk or Controls gained in an international financial institution or regulatory authority.
- Very strong influencing skills and ability to manage through influence in a matrixed organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to make sound judgments under tight deadlines
- Deep understanding of relevant privacy laws and regulations and applicability to various business lines
- In-depth understanding of the risk and control environment together with a good working knowledge of relevant policies
- Experience engaging with regulators.

Most importantly we are looking for some with a successful track record of delivering required business outcomes, has sound relationship-building capacities and demonstrable negotiating/influencing skills.
