Manager, First Nations Health PromotionThe Manager, First Nations Health Promotion is an exciting, newly created role, and reflects the commitment in our 10 year strategy to the health and wellbeing of First Nations Victorians.
You will develop and nurture strong relationships across VicHealth and with key external stakeholders, including state government, and will also work directly with VicHealth's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partner organisations, and with communities and stakeholders, to effect change in the systems where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Victoria live, work and play.
A key aspect will be ensuring that Strong Young Mob, VicHealth's governance mechanism with a number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partner organisations, transfers decision-making power and resources to community, and builds long-term capacity.

Remuneration: $132,061 – $158,751 (plus superannuation)
Qualifications and experience required: Demonstrated track record of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and application of this knowledge in the context of self-determination reform in VictoriaExperience planning and delivering programs and investments for and with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Victorians, communities and organisationsDemonstrated understanding of using systems-thinking or a systems approach to addressing complex issuesDemonstrable communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with emphasis on developing and maintaining strong external stakeholder relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Victorians, communities, and organisations.How to apply:
