What you will do:
Provide strategic financial advice to the Council and Executive Lead the procurement & contract management functions Ensure timely, transparent, and accurate reporting of financial and operational performance Develop key plans in Council's strategic management framework Manage relationships strategically within and outside of Council Foster a cohesive and committed team environment with a clear vision and focus As the Manager Finance & Procurement, you will be at the forefront of driving financial excellence within the City of Port Adelaide Enfield.
Your role will involve leading the Finance & Procurement Section as a trusted business partner, providing strategic leadership and specialist financial advice.
You will also provide expert procurement and contract management advice to maximise community outcomes and value for money.
Your ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders will be crucial in this role.
What you will bring:
A tertiary qualification in finance/accounting or related discipline essential CPA/CA or equivalent professional accreditation essential Extensive (5 years minimum) experience in accounting and strategic financial leadership is essential Significant experience as a Senior Leader in a large, complex organisation Strong skills and expertise in corporate financial management coupled with financial analysis and reporting skill High level knowledge of tendering and contract management principles and processes As the ideal candidate for the Manager Finance & Procurement role, you bring extensive experience in accounting and strategic financial leadership.
Your strong skills in corporate financial management, coupled with your ability to provide expert procurement advice, make you an invaluable asset to the leadership team.
You have proven experience as a Senior Leader in a large, complex organisation, demonstrating your ability to navigate challenging situations with ease.
Your high-level knowledge of tendering and contract management principles will be instrumental in ensuring we deliver cost-effective services that maximise value for our community.
