The Opportunity
As the Manager Council Enterprises, you will play a vital role in leading the delivery of our commercial services.
In this role, you'll develop strategic business plans, drive service improvements, and enhance customer satisfaction while leading a multi-skilled and motivated team.
This position offers the chance to shape our services, build partnerships with stakeholders, and contribute to the overall economic vitality of East Gippsland.
Your leadership will have a direct impact, driving these fantastic facilities for visitors and residents alike.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Bairnsdale or Lakes Entrance with travel across East Gippsland required.
What we're looking for (Key Selection Criteria)
Formal qualifications or demonstrated relevant experience in at least one of the disciplines covered by the role and/or business qualifications.
Track record in achieving results at management level.
Ability to deliver services that are relevant to customer needs within a local government environment.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and human resource management skills.
Strong business acumen with proven experience in driving business improvement, planning, and management.
Additionally, demonstrated proficiency in financial management and the ability to think and operate strategically as well as tactically.
If successful, you will need to undertake a police check, psychometric testing, and hold a current and valid Working With Children Check.
You must also be legally entitled to work in Australia.
