This role is an exciting opportunity to work with the broader Digital Delivery, Innovation and Architecture team who focus on application service delivery across all corporate service business groups. We enable digital leadership and innovation in Government services and regulatory functions to deliver personalised digital experience’s to NSW and this role will be pivotal in achieving this!

Your responsibilities will include:
Being future-focused and having single point of end-to-end ownership of core/common IT applications to the Corporate Services Domain.
Full solution delivery life cycle (plan, build, transition, run and sustain) for the specific applications in this area.
Working under broad direction, to successfully complete a variety of complex work activities.
Lead, develop and grow a team of technologists and enable suppliers to deliver across the portfolio, accountable for implementation outcomes, integration of activity and simplification of the ICT Corporate technology environment within Digital Delivery
Fully responsible for meeting allocated objectives, establishing milestones and having a significant role in the assignment of tasks and/or responsibilities.
Making critical decisions which impact the success of assigned work, such as results, milestones and budgets.
Managing allocation of resources appropriate to work.
Lead on user/customer collaboration throughout all stages of work.
Ensure users’ needs are met consistently through each work stage.

About you:
Lead, motivate and developyour team while maintaining a great employee experience.
Proven success to lead, scale and manage a team of cross-disciplinary engineers in an exciting high-tech and fast paced environment.
Proficient in understanding technology, infrastructure and design principles such as cloud and on-prem, legacy and web application architectures, microservices and APIs.
Results in delivering application solutions within the IT industry, including applied understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies and how these are incorporated effectively.
Sound level of ERP, case and workflow management, Data and Analytics technology knowledge and the general technical landscape.
A collaborator who thrives in managing external providers to delivery.
Preferably tertiary-level qualifications in computer science or relevant industry recognized certifications matched with experience in developing systems to support a large and complex organisation.
Experience in leading projects or teams utilising the following technologies are advantageous: Salesforce, .Net, SAP, Java, JIRA, confluence or Microsoft Teams.
