WA College Of Agriculture - Morawa (WACOA – Morawa) is seeking a dedicated and motivated Manager of Corporate Services to join their friendly administrative team.
As a member of the executive team, the Manager of Corporate Services is responsible for the delivery of quality corporate services including buildings, asset management, financial and human resource management of the school. Other responsibilities of this role, include ensuring all audit requirements are followed and provide consistency for financial planning and budgeting within the school and possess an excellent knowledge of Department Policies and Guidelines. The successful applicant will ideally possess a proven track record of applying a solutions focused approach to management and have a growth mindset. In addition, applicants who have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to effectively lead and manage the administration staff, work together with parents and the wider community are strongly encouraged to apply.
The WA College of Agriculture - Morawa, a highly regarded College which provides Agricultural Education and Training to students in Years , and . Students are attracted from across Western Australia to study specialised agriculture through a combination of WACE subjects and nationally accredited certificates, with a focus on the agricultural and trades areas. Students who have an interest in agriculture, mining or trades areas are educated on a large commercial farming property in the northern wheat belt with cropping, cattle, sheep and pig enterprises.
Partnerships with industry ensure that students have access to the latest research and development and industry best practice in agriculture. Through the College Board and Agricultural Advisory Committee's commitment to continuous improvement, students have access to the latest machinery, equipment and workshop facilities.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following work related requirements (selection criteria):
High-level human resource management skills, including the ability to develop and/or apply human resource management practices and processes.
High-level financial management skills, including budget preparation and the ability to understand and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures.
High-level written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Experience in the application of high-level customer service principles and practices.
Experience in effective leadership of a team.
Ability to provide high-level human resource consultancy and financial advice in the development, implementation and management of business and marketing plans.
Well-developed problem solving and risk management skills, including the ability to provide innovative solutions to strategic and complex problems and issues.

Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check
Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement
Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy
Complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment.
Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
The Department applies a four () day breach period to this selection process.
