The Manager, Corporate Centre People will be instrumental in enhancing the people experience and driving innovative HR practices that align with and support Queensland Rail's strategic objectives for its Corporate portfolio.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape people strategies and play a key role in transforming our people services with an emphasis on strategic impact, collaboration, and operational excellence.
As a strategic partner reporting to the Group Senior Manager - People Services, you will lead the design and implementation of people frameworks that advance Queensland Rail's goals, working closely with the Corporate Executive Leadership Team across multiple portfolios to ensure an integrated, enterprise-wide approach to HR.
Key responsibilities: Lead a small, impactful Corporate People Team, developing strategies that assist the corporate functions to deliver Queensland Rail's objectives.Collaborate with senior and executive leaders to provide strategic HR insights, enhance business alignment, and meet varied stakeholder needs.Oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide people initiatives, integrating innovative practices to improve service excellence.Influence and manage relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple portfolios, ensuring effective engagement and alignment on HR priorities.Drive culture transformation by challenging and improving current processes, while upholding Queensland Rail's commitment to a collaborative and safe workplace.What We're Looking For: Experience in leading and implementing HR frameworks, programs, and policies across large, complex organisations.Strong ability to influence and shape organisational culture, driving impactful, people-centered change.Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, and relationship-building skills to cultivate effective partnerships.Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary HR practices, coupled with a strategic and collaborative mindset to elevate people service excellence.Remuneration & Employment Type: This is a permanent, fulltime position, based in Brisbane CBD with a competitive remuneration package and hybrid work options to support the balance between work and personal commitments.
