Position Title: Manager - Aged Care Assessment Services We are seeking an experienced Manager - Aged Care Assessment Services to join our team.
Terms of Employment: Fixed Term Full Time until 30th June 2029Salary: SCHADS Award Level 7WHO WE ARE Footprints Community is a well-regarded not-for-profit organisation, that has provided community-based support services across Queensland for over 30 years.
We specialise in assisting older adults, individuals with disabilities, those experiencing mental health challenges, and people at risk of and experiencing homelessness.
ABOUT THE ROLE The purpose of the position is to provide leadership for the operational and strategic management of the Aged Care Assessment Service.
The ACAS is designed to deliver client-centred, comprehensive, fair, and timely assessments, empowering older Australians to access Commonwealth-funded aged care services.
The manager will work closely with the Senior Manager - Aged Care Assessment Service to provide leadership, practice development, and operational guidance to the aged care assessment team.
KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Leadership and Mentoring Provide operational and professional leadership of a multidisciplinary team.Manage staff performance and provide regular direction, feedback and support.Contribute to recruitment strategies regarding workforce requirements.Manage relationships within the ACAS to ensure effective program operation.Support the team to oversee the day-to-day operational and administrative requirements of services.Program Management & Development Work collaboratively with the Senior Manager and Project Officer to drive the implementation of the ACAS.Manage the ACAS program to ensure compliance with funding guidelines, contracts, and legislation.Drive the ongoing development, implementation, and evaluation of program/service practice.Quality and Compliance Contribute to internal and external reports on time and to high standard.Ensure records management obligations are met.Identify, monitor, and mitigate programmatic risks.Stakeholder Engagement Actively participate in community networking and events.Collaborate with funding bodies and community providers.Health, Safety and Risk Management Lead and promote a culture of strong governance.Ensure all reporting of incidents is completed.General Follow all organisational policies and procedures.Participate in ongoing learning and development activities.ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will need: A bachelor's degree in human services or relevant aged care or health industry.Demonstrated understanding/experience of community-based support services.Proven leadership skills and the ability to nurture cohesive teams.High level written and verbal communication skills.National NDIS Workers Screening check or current Yellow Card.Current First Aid Certificate.WHY Footprints?
