The 30 person head office finance function is split across specialisation areas of accounting and compliance, management accounting, international accounts, transactions and payroll. International locations have local finance functions, supported and overseen from the Australian head office.
This is a hands-on accounting position that will offer you a wide range of general accounting and management accounting experience. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong critical analysis capability and an ability to think strategically.
The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and organisational skills, strong problem-solving capabilities, a positive attitude and be driven to make a difference.
Job tasks and responsibilities Treasury management including cash flow forecastingKey customer support accruals, reconciliation analysis and reportingCalculation of Royalties, in compliance with our License AgreementSales commissions calculationsSales forecasting and reportingProduct costingAd-hoc analysis work as requiredIdentify areas for process improvement and efficiencies, and implement changes Skills and experience The successful applicant will need the following:
CA/CPA qualification (or working towards it) preferred but not essentialAt least 3 years demonstrable experience in general accounting and reconciliationAdvanced Excel skills preferredEffective prioritisation, organisation and communication skills High attention to detailThe ability to think critically and strategically, and to objectively review processes You must be an Australian resident and have full rights to work in Australia.
