With the recent purchase of a 30% stake in the Alta Mesa Uranium Project in South Texas USA, Boss Energy has reaffirmed its vision to become a global uranium supplier.About the RoleThe role of the Corporate Management Accountant is to manage month-end processes, deliver monthly cost reviews with various business leaders and produce accurate and timely financial reports for multiple business units.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport month-end activities including accruals, re-allocation, entries, review, reporting and reconciliation.Deliver monthly cost reviews with various business leaders.Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for multiple business units.Assist with annual budget and periodic forecasting.Prepare BAS, FBT and other tax requirements.Assist with audit including liaising with external auditors.In conjunction with the Finance Manager, develop, roll-out and maintain appropriate financial policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with the required taxation, regulatory and accounting standards are met.Involvement in process improvement and technology implementation.About YouYou will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting.A minimum of 3-5 years accounting experience.Experience within the mining industry in a similar role would be seen as an advantage.A natural problem solver with strong analytical/problem-solving skills with an eye for detail, including the ability to structure information to meet the needs and understanding of the intended audience.Strong skills in Excel.Experience with Pronto and Power BI is preferable.What We OfferWe take pride in fostering a supportive team environment that values collaboration and professional growth.
