Maintenance Supervisor - Mobile Plant

HSS is a market leading technical recruitment and labour hire company specialising in the delivery of high quality personnel to the Mining, Oil & Gas, Resource, Civil and Construction sectors.Our client, based in Collie, is currently seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Maintenance Supervisor.Role Description:You will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and co-ordination to the Maintenance crew to ensure production outcomes are achieved, and work is completed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.Key Responsibilities:Supervisory experience in heavy industry or mining environments (preferably open cut)S26 (or similar / equivalent supervisory experience)Capable of leading and supervising a team of Maintenance personnelAbility to promote and encourage high performance and safety in the workplaceAbility to handle crucial situations in a calm and effective mannerHeavy earthmoving equipment experience (Dump Trucks, Dozer, Excavators, Loaders, etc)Great communication skills, leading by example and contributing to a positive workplace cultureExcellent customer service and problem-solving skillsValid WA "C" class driver's licence (essential)Ability to pass Pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screenRemuneration & Roster:Ongoing casual contract with permanent opportunityResidential position (must be within commuting distance to Collie)$80.00 per hour flat rate7 days on / 7 days off; 7 nights on / 7 days offStart Date: ASAPIf your experience meets the criteria and you have Australian Working Rights, click "Apply for this job" and attach your up-to-date resume including your work history and contactable referees who have supervised your experience.Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to discuss progressing your application to the next stage.
