Town Beach Club Village is a staff only accommodation complex that houses up to 110 staff employed at Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa. The complex is located in the Broome township, a short drive from the Resort.We are currently seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the daily operations with a particular focus on the maintenance and repairs as well as management of all aspects of tenant accommodation, property presentation and OH&S compliance.This is very much a hands-on maintenance role and not one that will see you desk bound all day.Reporting to the resort management team, this position is responsible for a range of duties including, but not limited to:Maintaining the buildings and grounds to an acceptable level of presentation and safetyResponding to tenants maintenance requests and other property related queries or mattersUndertaking regular repairs and adhering to a maintenance scheduleUndertaking daily maintenance and cleaning as required ensuring the upkeep of the propertyLiaising with trades and suppliers, including obtaining job quotes and raising purchase orders in line with company policySupervision and management of a small team consisting of a gardener, handyperson and part time cleanerDealing with security and noise related matters in a responsible and efficient mannerAbout you:Previous experience in a similar hands-on management role in a small hotel/motel/hostel or caravan parkProven experience in undertaking a range of maintenance tasks including basic plumbing, patching and painting, reticulation repairs, gardening, air conditioning fault finding etc.A demonstrated history of compliance within OH&S guidelines and a working knowledge of relevant legislationHigh level communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of ages and nationalitiesHold a current manual driver's licenseWhat's on offer:A competitive salary ranging between $80,000-$85,000 depending on the candidateFree of charge onsite accommodation in a fully furnished one bedroom apartmentFree access to amenities at Town Beach Club Village, including pool, gym and social areaCable Beach Club Resort & Spa discounts offered to the successful candidate.
